Introducing the 2008 Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival summer season - a year that aims to be the most exciting, diverse and engaging in the event's 36 year history. Offering a varied program this summer featuring Shakespearean classics and a brand new contemporary musical. We are delighted to announce our plays this season that feature the gleefully wicked Richard III, never before seen at Sand Harbor, paired nicely with the charming and beautiful Bard favorite, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Our Monday night production is the brand new musical CAMBIO based on the Victor Hugo novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The live Latin band, a friendly bar tender and a host of vibrant singers and dancers, guide the audience through the twisted love story of the three main characters. Bright and colorful costumes, Latin sounds, red hot moves and sultry voices bring this newly adapted love story to life in a seductive tropical setting. As you bask in the sunset and gaze into the crystal blue Lake Tahoe waters; you might think you are vacationing in the Caribbean! Performing every Monday night during the 2008 Festival season CAMBIO is presented for a VERY limited time – avoid disappointment and reserve your place at the party today!
