Lake Tahoe Map

Lake Tahoe, located at 6,200 feet elevation, is in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The California and Nevada state border runs down the middle of Lake Tahoe. Lakeland Village is located on the beach at South Lake Tahoe off U.S. Highway 50 near the base of Ski Run Blvd., one mile west of the Stateline casinos.

Transportation: Automobile: Via U.S. Highway 50, Lakeland Village is 98 miles from Sacramento, California; 200 miles from San Francisco, California; and only 55 miles from Reno, Nevada.

Airport: The Reno Tahoe International Airport (RNO) in Reno, Nevada is served by most major airlines, and is just a 75 minute drive via 4 lane all weather highway. The Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is a scenic 2 hour drive from Lakeland Village.

Bus/Shuttle: From Reno Tahoe International Airport, Lakeland Village is about a 75 minute scenic ride on the South Tahoe Express shuttle. Book on line at www.southtahoeexpress.com or call 866-89-TAHOE or 775-325-8944. Departs 11 to 14 times a day from the Casinos. Once you arrive at the Casino, call our Free Courtesy Shuttle or take a taxi to the hotel.

Driving Directions

  • From San Francisco/Bay Area: Take I-80 East to Sacramento.
  • From Sacramento: Take U.S. 50 East over Echo Summit to the junction of Hwy 89 and U.S 50. Bear right to continue on U.S. 50 (sign reads Lake Tahoe, NV 5). Continue approximately 4 miles to Lakeland Village, which is located on the left (lake) side of the road. Follow tan and teal fence to the main entrance. Turn left and follow signs to the lodge lobby.
  • From Reno Tahoe International Airport: Exit airport onto Route 395 South to Carson City. Follow 395 South through Carson City to the junction of 395 and U.S. 50 West. Bear right onto U.S. 50 West towards Lake Tahoe. Continue over Spooner Summit South Lake Tahoe. Continue past the casinos approximately 1 mile and Lakeland Village is on the right (lake) side of the road. Turn right into the main entrance and follow signs to the lodge lobby.
  • From Los Angeles: Take Hwy 395 North to Gardnerville Nevada. Pass all the way through Gardnerville until you reach the final stoplight, which is Hwy 88 where you want to take a left. About a mile up Hwy 88 you will see a green interstate sign that says LAKE TAHOE with an arrow to the right. Take the first right after the sign and follow the road (Kingsbury Grade) up and over the mountain to Lake Tahoe. Kingsbury Grade dead-ends at a stoplight at U.S. 50. Take a left onto U.S. 50 and follow it past the casinos. Approximately 1 mile past the casinos, Lakeland Village is on the right (lake) side of the road. Turn right into the main entrance and follow signs to the lodge lobby.
